For the month of December, Pastor Tim will only preach two messages from Isaiah. The rest of our Sundays will be filled with the choir presentation, Family Business Meeting, and the Candlelight service.

 

Instead of trying to tie all those very different services together into small group guides, our staff decided to share this 4-part Advent Study Guide. We felt it would help us to understand Advent and Christmas better as we celebrate them.

We encourage you to read the stories, use the questions for discussion, and also to take one or two of the scriptures at the end of the lesson and apply the ARRR method: Ask, Read, Reflect, and Respond.

 

Since this guide is not broken down into daily devotions, we encourage you to use the Paul David Tripp book, “Everyday Gospel: Christmas Devotions.” We have free copies (one per family, please) available at the Equip Desk in the Foyer. You are also invited to include discussion of these daily devotions as part of your small group.

We pray these guides and devotions help all of us to experience the presence and power of Jesus throughout this season.
